Our new peony sales year always starts on 1 February. Place your orders early for best availability. Certain peonies are (sometimes very) limited in supply, or simply just very popular, and we often see these sell out well in advance of the flowering season and even in the first days after opening of our new Catalogue.

Usually, we start digging, dividing, shipping and replanting our peony roots in the first half of September. From this moment onwards, there is an increasing chance that your desired peonies are no longer available.

Everybody can order with us. We ship worldwide, and have customers from Chile to New Zealand and from the USA to Russia. However, our main focus is on Europe. At this moment, not all customers can be allowed to order through the Login on this website. Currently, we can only give access to our Login pages to customers from Europe and neighboring countries on the East (like Russia and Ukraine). We hope to soon be able to give access to all our types of customers.

Due to VAT-regulations and other restrictions, private customers from Ukraine and Russia cannot register as a retail customer in our system but are required to make a wholesale registration on our website..




We invite overseas customers to contact us by e-mail. Upon your request we will give you a quotation or send you our pricelist.



We do not ship our roots in the spring season. We only ship peony roots in the fall season. After November our shipping season is finished, as we only ship fresh and highly vital roots. We will always work out the best time and way for the shipping, together with you. In Europe, this is usually by road trucking, but smaller sized orders can also be sent with parcel post.

-     Customers in the United Kingdom will be continued to be served by us.
Brexit did not change this, but did come with additional procedures. We can help set you up for importing peony roots from us.

-     Customers in Russia (and surrounding countries):
We have an agent in Moscow who will be happy to assist you. Please contact us for more information, or mention this when you place your order.

-     Customers in Ukraine: We can help you with making arrangements for transport to get our peony roots delivered to your door.



-     Customers in the USA and Canada with a reasonable order size we can ship orders to directly. For smaller sized orders this will not be very cost effective, and we offer the possibility to join in on a consolidated shipment to our representative who will take care of the domestic shipping to your door.

-     Other overseas and outside EU customers are invited to make direct inquiries by e-mail.

Standard delivery is in black plastic crates (60x40x25 cm) on block pallets, or if the destination requires it in sturdy cardboard boxes with similar dimensions. All roots are packed very carefully in peat and (perforated) plastic bags for the best possible protection and conditioning during transport.

The mentioned prices in our website Catalogue and in our printable price list are per root, and are excluding VAT. 
When you are located in a country of  the European Union, and you do not have a valid VAT-No., then we will have to charge you with your country's VAT-rate. For current rates click here

To secure your order, you will be asked for a 30% deposit at time of ordering. Payment of this deposit within 14 days or your order will be cancelled. Further prepayments will be very welcome, but not demanded until you receive your final invoice at shipping time.

Please be informed that all bank transfer service charges, and other money transfer costs, are for buyer’s account always. PayPal also charges costs and are for your account. The rates are depending on your location (5,4% for Eastern Europe, Russia, Ukraine and overseas destinations and 3,9% for European locations).
